Warehouse Associate

Motive Companies is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Milford, CT for temporary employment at $18 per hour. The position supports a luxury interior design and furniture company that stages and supplies furnishings for high-end residential properties nationwide. The associate will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and preparing furniture and decor items for delivery to residential projects.

Core responsibilities include:

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming furniture and decor inventory
• Prepare, pack, and stage items for delivery to residential projects
• Load and unload trucks with care to protect items from damage
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized
• Label, wrap, and coordinate outgoing shipments
• Perform basic furniture assembly, touch-ups, and quality checks
• Work with internal teams to meet project deadlines

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

• Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, moving, or furniture handling
• Experience handling fragile or high-end items is strongly preferred
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds and remain active throughout shifts
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to work quality
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Team collaboration skills

Additional experience in interior design, home staging, furniture environments, forklift operation, or basic assembly and handyman work is valued but not required. The role offers exposure to luxury residential projects and staging operations, with potential for long-term growth in a stable team environment.
