Director of Operations and Design

Grey Stone Designs LLC is hiring a Director of Operations and Design in West Palm Beach, FL. This role centers on leading operations, design execution, and team management for a growing home staging and interior design company. The successful candidate will partner with the owner and creative director to ensure projects run smoothly, maintain quality standards, and deliver exceptional client experiences.

Responsibilities include leading and managing project managers to execute staging and design work on schedule and according to company standards. The director will oversee warehouse operations, inventory, purchasing, and project logistics in coordination with the warehouse manager. Day-to-day duties involve attending installations and styling sessions when needed, contributing to furniture and accessory selection, and preparing client proposals with detailed timelines, budgets, and pricing information. The position requires managing interior design projects from the sourcing phase through procurement, installation, and vendor management. Client meetings and communication about project scope, deliverables, and timelines fall within this role. The director will mentor team members, establish performance goals, hold staff accountable, and build a positive workplace culture. Maintaining project tracking systems, pipelines, schedules, and metrics is essential. The director will also spot opportunities to streamline processes, boost efficiency, and enhance client satisfaction while collaborating closely with leadership to protect Grey Stone's design vision and brand integrity.

Candidates should bring genuine passion for interior design, aesthetics, and creating refined spaces. Strong organizational, leadership, and project management abilities are required, along with experience supervising and motivating employees.
