Interior Design Associate

Grey Stone Designs LLC is hiring an Interior Design Associate in West Palm Beach, FL. GSD Home Staging is a home staging and design firm focused on creating tailored spaces that align with client objectives and preferences. The position requires local residency, with relocation to West Palm Beach, FL 33407 necessary before starting work.

Day-to-day responsibilities include the following:

• Partner with the owner and creative director to develop design plans covering space layout, furniture placement, material choice, and color schemes.
• Generate technical drawings including floor plans, elevations, and construction documents using industry-standard tools such as AutoCAD and Revit.
• Manage communication with clients, presenting design proposals, answering questions, and coordinating project timelines.
• Source and procure furnishings, fixtures, and decorative elements by researching options, negotiating with suppliers, and coordinating delivery.
• Support project oversight by monitoring expenses, scheduling setup work, and tracking construction advancement.
• Complete administrative functions including organizing project records, preparing client presentations, and managing material samples and reference libraries.

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor's degree in interior design or closely related field.
• Two to three years of professional experience in interior design or a related area.
• Working knowledge of design applications including AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
• Solid grasp of design fundamentals, material properties, and building techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Capacity to take initiative independently and work collaboratively within a group setting.
• Proven ability to organize workload and manage time efficiently.
• Genuine interest in interior design with meticulous attention to detail.
