Furniture Mover Helper Driver

A T Home Staging & Interiors is hiring a Furniture Mover Helper Driver in Atlanta, GA 30336. The position involves driving a 26-foot truck, moving and installing furniture, and handling related logistics. Work hours are scheduled as-needed and fluctuate seasonally, ranging from one day per week to four days per week, with individual shifts lasting five to eight hours. The company aims to schedule a week in advance, though urgent last-minute assignments occasionally arise. Applicants without moving or lifting experience on their resume may not be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver a positive experience for customers receiving moving services
• Pack furniture and decor safely, load and unload the truck, and assist with artwork installation
• Maintain the truck and warehouse in an organized and clean condition
• Operate a 20+ foot moving truck safely

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• Personal vehicle
• Capacity to lift and carry 100 pounds throughout the workday
• Prior packing and moving experience
• Ability to function independently
• Effective communication skills
• Strong work ethic
• Professional demeanor with clients
• Collaborative attitude
• Minimum age of 18
• Flexibility with scheduling changes
• Willingness to pass a background check
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of heavy lifting experience
• Day shift availability
