REALESTAGED LLC is hiring a Home Staging Design Manager in Glen Burnie, MD. This senior-level position combines design oversight with team management and quality control for all stagings leaving the warehouse and job sites. The manager serves as the final checkpoint for design approval and handles staff training, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters as needed.
Design and Curation Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the Realestaged Design Template that all stylists follow when ordering inventory
- Revise existing stagings and complete restagings for properties that fall short of customer expectations
- Review staged properties through photos and video, then provide the team with corrections and guidance
- Develop vision boards and design plans tailored to customer specifications
- Coordinate with stylists to align with customer expectations and document all notes in the calendar and CRM system
- Manage complex staging projects including partial stagings with mixed furniture, model homes, short-term rentals, and luxury multi-million-dollar properties
Team Leadership and Warehouse Operations
- Direct moving teams before departure each day, ensuring they have the correct furniture assignments
- Manage stylist schedules in partnership with the Operations Coordinator
- Participate in warehouse operations and coordinate with the logistics team
- Act as liaison with the virtual Design Coordinator for luxury home staging inventory
- Arrange pickups, shopping, and ordering of inventory as needed
- Train new stylists and conduct recertification for movers
- Update the style guide according to leadership direction
- Assist stylists in selecting furniture at the warehouse, which includes hands-on furniture handling
Quality Control and Customer Relations
- Inspect before and after photos and videos from all jobs to ensure compliance with company standards
- Address escalations from dissatisfied customers regarding staging quality
- Place outgoing calls to new clients to explain the Realestaged process
Administrative and Field Support
- Send emails, texts, and make calls to customers regarding staging progress updates
- Address customer concerns and questions about home staging recommendations
- Adjust staging dates within the calendar and CRM as needed
- Occasionally visit job sites to assist as a stylist, including directing movers and manually styling furniture
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of management experience in design-related fields
- Knowledge of home styles and interior design
- Physical ability to lift 40 pounds of furniture
- Preferred: Knowledge of real estate and the home selling process
The position offers a salary range of $75,000 to $90,000 annually, with a standard 40-hour work week. The schedule runs from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch break. Benefits include a 401(k) plan, performance-based bonuses, and paid time off. The start date is within 4 weeks of accepting the offer, and a 90-day probationary period applies.
