Waverly Staging + Design is hiring a Home Staging Assistant in New York, NY. This full-time position supports the staging and operations team in preparing properties for the real estate market, combining creative styling work with logistical coordination and hands-on project execution.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Prepare, pull, plan, and pack accessories alongside the Senior Stylist for staging projects
- Assist with installations and breakdowns at properties, working as part of the project team
- Execute styling on-site by applying the creative direction set by the Senior Stylist
- Keep accessories organized, packed, and placed correctly at each installation
- Measure properties and help upload floor plans
- Coordinate staging logistics and support scheduling as needed
- Communicate and collaborate with all crew members throughout projects
- Maintain the accessory warehouse and storage area in organized condition
- Track staging items and manage inventory across the warehouse, office, and job sites
- Help arrange vendor services including cleaning, carpet cleaning, and pest control
- Learn the responsibilities of the Production Manager and Project Coordinator to provide backup and coverage when required
- Develop skills in styling, organization, and project management while following established systems

Preferred experience includes background in interior design, home staging, visual merchandising, home décor, or related creative field; a portfolio of design work is optional but encouraged. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (including Outlook, Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, and Sheets) is helpful. Quick ability to learn Slack, Trello, Spoak, LiDAR measuring software, and inventory management systems is valued.
