Furniture Mover/Installation Assistant

B Styled Staging is hiring a Furniture Mover/Installation Assistant in the Fort Worth and DFW area on a part-time basis. This position involves moving and installing furniture for home staging projects on an as-needed schedule. Hours are not guaranteed and will fluctuate from week to week depending on project demand. This role is ideal for someone attending school part-time, working another job with flexible hours, or seeking to supplement income.

Responsibilities

• Transport furniture and décor items in and out of the warehouse and client homes while maintaining safety standards.
• Assist with staging installations and position furniture according to specifications.
• Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse.
• Take care to protect furniture, walls, floors, and client homes during all moving activities.
• Communicate effectively with the team and arrive punctually for scheduled work.

Requirements

• Ability to safely lift and carry 75 or more pounds with a partner.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to drive throughout the DFW area to the warehouse and job sites.
• Consistent reliability, trustworthiness, and punctuality.
• Professional demeanor and appearance while working in client homes.
• Careful attention to detail and respect for handling furniture and décor items.
• Passing a background check.
• Availability to work primarily Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work as client needs require.
• Prior experience in moving, furniture delivery, warehouse operations, or staging is helpful but not mandatory.

The position pays $20 to $22 per hour based on experience and operates as a 1099 independent contractor arrangement. Most work occurs Monday through Friday, though weekend jobs may arise based on client schedules. A flexible schedule is available, and growth opportunities exist as the company expands.
