Furniture Mover/Staging Assistant

B Styled Staging is hiring a Furniture Mover and Staging Assistant in the Fort Worth and DFW area. This part-time, on-call position offers flexible scheduling with hours varying week to week based on project availability. The role suits individuals balancing part-time classes, another flexible job, or seeking supplemental income.

• Load, unload, and transport furniture and decorative items safely
• Assist with staging installations and furniture placement in homes
• Organize and maintain warehouse inventory
• Protect furniture, walls, flooring, and client homes during moves
• Communicate effectively and arrive punctually for assigned jobs

Requirements include the ability to safely lift and carry 75 or more pounds with a partner, reliable transportation and valid driver's license, and willingness to drive throughout the DFW area to the warehouse and job sites. Applicants must be dependable, trustworthy, and punctual with a professional demeanor when working in client homes. Detail-oriented care in handling furniture and décor is essential. Candidates must pass a background check and have primary availability Monday through Friday during business hours, with occasional weekend projects as needed. Previous experience in moving, furniture delivery, warehouse work, or staging is advantageous but not required.

Compensation is $15 to $20 per hour depending on experience. The position is structured as a 1099 independent contractor role. Hours are not guaranteed and fluctuate with scheduled staging projects. Most work occurs Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend opportunities based on client needs. The company offers mileage reimbursement and a flexible schedule with potential for additional hours as the company expands.
