KCD Staging Inc is hiring an Experienced Mover for its home staging team in Kirkland, WA and surrounding Eastside Seattle areas. The role is part-time to full-time with hours typically starting at 7am and extending past 3pm, Monday through Friday. Pay ranges from $21 to $25 per hour depending on experience.
The position involves transporting staging furnishings from the warehouse to client homes, then de-staging properties once they sell by packing, moving, and restocking inventory. The mover will handle furniture, décor, and artwork with care to prevent damage, maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness, assist with stocking and inventory checks, and follow layout instructions from the design team. Occasional company truck driving is required for larger jobs. The mover will navigate between job sites using GPS, adapt to project-based schedules and last-minute changes, and represent the company professionally in client homes.
Required qualifications and experience include the following:
- Professional moving experience
- Ability to safely lift 50 to 75 pounds
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal communication and detail orientation
- Ability to speak and understand English; Spanish is a plus
- Truck driving experience is a plus
- Comfortable using computers, smartphones, and GPS navigation
- Punctual, reliable, and professional demeanor
- Positive attitude and collaborative team mindset
Candidates must be physically active, athletic, energetic, and comfortable with hands-on work including navigating stairs. The role is suited for those who work efficiently in project-based settings and enjoy immediately seeing the impact of their work on home transformations.
