Home Staging Operations Assistant

Rulaz Designs LLC is hiring a Home Staging Operations Assistant in Lynnwood, WA. This internship position offers exposure to multiple facets of a boutique home staging and interior design studio, with no two days following the same pattern.

The assistant will handle various operational and hands-on tasks across the studio. Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating staging installations, destaging work, deliveries, mover schedules, and logistics for projects
• Preparing furniture, artwork, bedding, accessories, and decorative items for upcoming jobs
• Assisting on-site during staging installations and providing support with styling and final touches
• Organizing, maintaining, and tracking furniture and décor inventory across the warehouse
• Receiving, unpacking, assembling, labeling, and stocking new inventory items
• Keeping the warehouse and work areas clean and properly maintained
• Managing recycling, breaking down packaging, and disposing of materials responsibly
• Cleaning furniture, accessories, and inventory between projects
• Coordinating communication with clients, real estate agents, vendors, movers, and team members
• Tracking timelines for project deadlines, rental extensions, and destaging dates
• Supporting purchasing and sourcing activities for new inventory
• Occasionally capturing behind-the-scenes and social media content
• Contributing to smooth daily operations and project execution across all areas

The position requires someone with strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills who can work independently and adjust to shifting priorities. The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, communicates well with various stakeholders, solves problems effectively, and demonstrates creativity and an eye for design. Comfort with both the aesthetic and physically demanding aspects of the work, from styling to warehouse tasks, is essential. While prior experience in home staging, interior design, retail, project coordination, operations, or related fields is helpful, the right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn are equally valued.
