Mover & Home Staging Specialist

Urban Domain Stage and Design is hiring a Mover & Home Staging Specialist in Lacey, WA. This role combines physical moving work with home staging duties to prepare properties for sales, relocations, renovations, and other projects.

The position involves a mix of moving and staging tasks throughout the day. On moving jobs, the specialist safely loads, transports, and unloads furniture, boxes, appliances, and household items while using proper wrapping and protection techniques to prevent damage. The work includes lifting and carrying heavy or bulky items, organizing truck loads efficiently, assembling or disassembling furniture as needed, and protecting floors, walls, and doorways from damage. For staging assignments, the specialist arranges furniture and décor according to plans, prepares homes for photography and showings, creates attractive layouts that showcase home features, positions accessories and artwork, removes excess items to open up spaces, and maintains careful attention to detail regarding placement, cleanliness, and overall presentation.

Requirements for the position include the ability to repeatedly lift and carry heavy items, typically 50 to 75 pounds or more with or without assistance. Physical capability, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills are essential. Candidates must be reliable, punctual, respectful of customer property, able to work independently and as part of a team, and willing to maintain professional communication with clients. A valid driver's license is preferred and required for operating company vehicles. Professional appearance and positive attitude are expected. Previous experience in moving, furniture delivery, home staging, warehouse work, or construction is preferred but not required.
