Beacon Davenport is hiring a Real Estate Staging & Design Specialist in Bellevue, WA. This position centers on preparing residential properties for sale by creating compelling visual presentations that attract buyers and support higher sale prices. The specialist combines design expertise, on-the-ground execution, and collaboration with clients and agents to deliver market-ready homes.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Analyze occupied and vacant properties to pinpoint design and staging opportunities that boost appeal and perceived market value
- Create customized staging plans based on target demographics, listing price, and local real estate conditions
- Select and procure furniture, décor, artwork, and accessories that establish appealing, current visual environments
- Stage rooms with strong spatial flow, usability, and buyer-focused design
- Recommend improvements to paint color, fixtures, and other upgrades that enhance presentation
- Consult with homeowners, real estate professionals, and company staff on staging objectives and schedules
- Present design strategies to clients and guide them through design selections with confidence
- Coordinate with contractors, moving companies, and photography professionals on project logistics
- Oversee the staging installation process with attention to quality and detail
- Track staging inventory, monitor asset location and condition, and arrange delivery and retrieval of items
- Keep multiple concurrent projects organized and on schedule
- Ready homes for professional photography and listing by ensuring spaces photograph well
- Work with photographers to produce effective listing images
- Manage the removal of staging items once properties are delisted
- Check that all inventory is returned, properly cared for, and prepared for the next project
Applicants should have the following qualifications:
- Background in home staging, interior design, real estate, or comparable experience
- Demonstrated design sensibility and understanding of buyer preferences and contemporary design trends
- Ability to deliver quality work under pressure and across simultaneous assignments
- Strong interpersonal and client communication abilities
- Solid project management and organizational skills
- Comfort managing different property types, from starter homes through high-end residences
- Familiarity with design software or tools (optional)
The position offers exposure to a range of property markets and the opportunity to establish design standards across the company's staging operations. Compensation is $22 to $24 per hour.
