Warehouse and Operations Manager

Celerity Homes is hiring a Warehouse and Operations Manager in Issaquah, WA. This role serves as the operational backbone of the staging business, handling the logistics and movement of high-end inventory, managing a vehicle fleet, and leading a dedicated crew while the design team focuses on aesthetics. The manager works with significant autonomy and is responsible for anticipating challenges before they become problems.

Key responsibilities include the following.

Logistics and scheduling: Build the daily and weekly plan for all staging and destaging jobs, determining the most efficient routes and truck assignments. Calculate required crew size for each project, coordinate temporary labor needs, communicate schedules to team members, and maintain proper staffing levels. Serve as the connection between the design team and the logistics team, identifying potential obstacles like furniture fit constraints before the crew begins work.

Warehouse operations: Oversee the intake and output of furniture, ensuring items are safely packed and stored in designated zones. Document Standard Operating Procedures for packing, loading, and truck organization to streamline training for new employees. Maintain adequate stock of staging supplies, tools, and hardware so field crews are always ready.

Fleet management: Track vehicle maintenance schedules and arrange oil changes and repairs before breakdowns occur. Keep trucks clean and properly organized with necessary equipment such as dollies, blankets, and straps. Maintain safety standards across the fleet.

On-site leadership: Serve as the primary point of contact during installations and removals. Address physical obstacles and challenges, providing solutions to crew members and designers in real-time. Lead by example and ensure the crew handles inventory and client homes with exceptional care and professionalism.

Required qualifications and experience:

• Three to five years of leadership experience in warehouse, logistics, or operations management with responsibility for both people and inventory
• Proven track record leading a crew of at least two people, including scheduling, performance management, and coordinated on-site work
• Professional background in route optimization, fleet coordination, and labor cost management
• Physical capability to lift heavy furniture and remain standing for extended periods during installations
• Valid driver's license with ability to confidently drive and maneuver box trucks sized 16 to 26 feet
• Proficiency with scheduling software, inventory management systems, and basic communication tools like Slack and Google Workspace

Preferred qualifications include prior experience in home staging, high-end furniture retail, or white-glove moving; experience writing Standard Operating Procedures or training documentation; familiarity with vehicle maintenance or commercial fleet management schedules; and a history of solving urgent problems in high-pressure client-facing settings.
