The Cozy Home is hiring a Home Staging Delivery driver and mover in Monona, WI. This role involves transporting furniture and goods safely and efficiently, with a focus on handling items carefully throughout the delivery process. Responsibilities include:
- Loading and unloading furniture and other items from trucks and vans while maintaining care
- Transporting goods by vehicle along assigned routes to deliver items on schedule
- Assembling and disassembling furniture as needed for transport
- Picking up and delivering furnishings between warehouse locations, stores, and customer sites
- Securing all items properly in the vehicle to prevent damage during transit
- Keeping the warehouse and moving vehicles clean and organized
- Working with the Staging Coordinator on job assignments and scheduling
- Collaborating with team members to maintain smooth operations and customer satisfaction
- Following safe lifting techniques and using assistive equipment to reduce injury risk
- Completing additional tasks as directed by management
For shorter moving days, The Cozy Home may offer extra hours for supplemental work such as organizing, painting, solo moving jobs, and light landscaping.
Qualifications:
- Three years of prior experience in moving, delivery driving, or warehouse operations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly throughout the day
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of route navigation for efficient deliveries
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Careful attention to safety procedures when handling goods
- Flexibility to work varying schedules and reliable availability on assigned days
