Lead Home Stager

Lavender & Birch Home Staging & Design is hiring a Lead Home Stager in Mukwonago, WI. This full-time position involves leading staging projects from conception through completion, using furniture, artwork, accessories, and décor to transform vacant properties into buyer-ready spaces throughout Southeastern Wisconsin.

The Lead Stager will handle the following responsibilities:

• Select and arrange furniture and décor to create inviting, market-ready spaces that showcase each property's potential.
• Determine optimal furniture layouts and design direction tailored to individual properties.
• Load, unload, move, and install furniture and décor efficiently and safely.
• Direct staging crews on-site to ensure projects meet deadlines and Lavender & Birch quality standards.
• Coordinate with team members during staging installations and removals.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, real estate agents, and colleagues.
• Keep the warehouse, trucks, and staging inventory organized and clean.
• Inspect furnishings and décor for damage and maintain inventory quality.
• Manage warehouse operations and inventory organization as required.

Candidates should demonstrate the following qualifications:

• Strong understanding of interior design, color theory, scale, and furniture placement.
• Prior experience in home staging, interior design, visual merchandising, or similar field (preferred).
• Leadership experience or proven ability to direct a crew during staging work.
• Capacity to lift and carry furniture weighing 50 pounds or more and sustain physically demanding activity throughout the day.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Solid communication and problem-solving skills.
• Self-directed approach to independent decision-making while working on-site.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (preferred).

The position runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional schedule adjustments as needed. Pay ranges from $15 to $20 per hour based on experience.
