Home Staging Crew – Furniture & Logistics

Elevate Staging Co is hiring two crew members for furniture installation and logistics work across residential properties in the Phoenix Valley. This independent contractor position (1099) involves moving and placing furnishings and décor for real estate staging projects, with no two days being identical.

Daily tasks include meeting the crew at the warehouse, loading furniture and décor onto the company box truck, driving to residential properties, unloading and positioning items according to the stager's specifications, and reversing the process during de-staging. Additional responsibilities may include:

• Loading and unloading the company box truck
• Transporting sofas, dining tables, beds, dressers, chairs and other furniture pieces
• Wrapping and protecting furniture during transport
• Operating dollies, straps, moving blankets and similar equipment
• Assembling furniture and maintaining inventory
• Hanging artwork
• Organizing warehouse and truck storage
• Driving the box truck as needed

Ideal candidates are punctual and dependable, since projects are scheduled around listing dates, photographer appointments, homeowners and real estate agents. Candidates should also meet these qualifications:

• Physically capable of repeatedly lifting 75 pounds or more
• Able to sustain several hours of physical labor
• Careful and respectful with furniture and client properties
• Comfortable working in Arizona heat during outdoor loading and unloading
• Able to take direction and function as part of a small team
• Reliable and pleasant to work alongside
• Comfortable operating a box truck
• Able to work with both speed and care

Prior experience in moving, furniture delivery, warehouse work, construction or related fields is beneficial but not required; Elevate Staging Co will train qualified individuals.

The position offers 20 to 30 hours per week with a flexible schedule that varies based on staging demand. Pay is $23 to $25 per hour depending on experience. This role focuses on the physical furniture-moving aspects of staging, not interior design or decorating work.
