Discovery Land Company is hiring a Club Services Associate at Homewood Mountain & Lake Club on Lake Tahoe's West Shore in Homewood, California. This position supports Member Services, Residential Services, and Outdoor Pursuits across the club, combining visibility with hands-on work. The associate participates in every aspect of the member and guest experience, from preparing residences for arrivals to executing club activations and outdoor programs.
The Club Services Associate handles multiple areas of responsibility:
- Prepare, setup, and break down club activations, experiences, programs, and events across operations departments
- Keep club spaces clean, organized, stocked, and ready for member use, offering general support for seamless daily operations
- Conduct weekly residential inspections and communicate home condition, readiness, and service needs to the Facilities Team
- Stage and prepare homes for member arrivals, departures, and real estate sales tours
- Assist with housekeeping support including stocking and basic property readiness
- Help organize and maintain Outdoor Pursuits facilities, equipment, and gear; support guides in delivering safe experiences
- Stage, move, and maintain company and guest vehicles; keep recreational equipment clean and ready
- Identify and report service gaps, safety concerns, and maintenance needs
- Support daily operational initiatives, special projects, and events as assigned
Required qualifications and abilities include:
- Two or more years of experience in hospitality, outdoor recreation, property operations, or related field
- Valid driver's license in good standing
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English; additional languages a plus
- Capacity to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with extended hours as business demands
- Ability to lift and carry items sometimes exceeding fifty pounds
- Physical capability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing and moving for periods greater than eight hours
- Strong work ethic with a collaborative, team-first approach
- Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Positive demeanor, professional communication, and excellent interpersonal skills
