Driver / Furniture Mover

D'Core Home Staging is hiring a Driver/Furniture Mover in Chula Vista, CA to support staging operations throughout San Diego County. The company specializes in installing and removing furniture, artwork, and accessories in homes and active real-estate listings, and seeks an experienced, detail-oriented person for this position.

This role involves operating a 16-foot box truck to transport staging inventory across San Diego County, loading and unloading furniture and accessories at client properties, and handling installation and pickup work. The driver will secure inventory properly within the truck, wrap and protect items, manage warehouse and vehicle organization, perform basic vehicle inspections, communicate with the team about daily schedules, and maintain professional representation at occupied and vacant homes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Safely operate a 16-foot box truck throughout San Diego County
• Load, unload, and secure furniture, artwork, rugs, accessories, and staging materials
• Assist with staging installations and furniture pickups
• Transport furniture with care to prevent damage to inventory, property, and client homes
• Wrap, organize, and return inventory to the warehouse
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck and warehouse
• Follow daily project schedules and coordinate with team members
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns
• Work professionally in clients' homes

Required qualifications:

• Valid California driver's license
• Clean driving record meeting commercial auto insurance requirements
• Demonstrated experience driving a box truck or similar vehicle safely
• Reliable transportation to the Chula Vista warehouse
• Ability to work on variable weekday schedules based on project demands
• Physical capacity to lift and move items up to 100 pounds throughout the day
• Proficiency with dollies, furniture pads, straps, ramps, and moving equipment
• Punctuality and consistent on-time arrival
• Collaborative team approach and ability to follow instructions
• Professional demeanor when working in clients' homes

Preferred qualifications include prior professional moving, furniture delivery, warehouse, or home-staging experience; bilingual English-Spanish fluency; experience wrapping and securing furniture; and familiarity with San Diego County geography.

The position offers $23 to $25 per hour depending on relevant experience, with an expected schedule of approximately 35 hours per week.
