Furniture Delivery Driver

Vesta Home is hiring a Furniture Delivery Driver in Pico Rivera, CA. The position focuses on delivering furnishings to residential and commercial locations, setting up pieces in customer homes, and maintaining Vesta Home's reputation for quality service and on-time delivery.

Delivery and setup responsibilities include:

• Operate various vehicles in the fleet (16-foot box truck, 26-foot box truck, and sprinter vans) while adhering to all DOT regulations and traffic laws
• Load and secure furniture and home décor items at the warehouse
• Deliver and unload furniture to meet scheduled delivery windows
• Set up and arrange furniture in homes according to Vesta Home's standards and designer specifications
• Install wall décor such as art and mirrors using proper tools and techniques
• Communicate with dispatch throughout the day, providing regular updates on deliveries and accepting route changes as needed
• Work with onsite designers to ensure furniture placement aligns with design standards, escalating any issues to the Delivery and Logistics Manager

Vehicle and inventory management tasks involve:

• Performing daily vehicle inspections and reporting maintenance needs
• Using warehouse management systems and scanning devices to verify products and track inventory during loading and unloading
• Physically handling product movement and maintaining accurate inventory records
• Restocking and organizing tools, hardware, and delivery supplies as directed
• Scanning items in the download department, unwrapping and inspecting products for quality, applying protective coverings, and organizing stock

Customer service and quality standards require:

• Cleaning and preparing furniture before delivery to ensure pristine condition upon arrival
• Communicating professionally with customers about delivery windows, answering questions, and addressing concerns
• Representing Vesta Home's brand through courteous and professional interactions
• Taking and submitting photos before and after installation to document quality and flag any damage

Additional responsibilities include assisting with warehouse functions such as inventory management, order picking, and product staging for deliveries. The driver should adapt to schedule changes and take on additional duties as assigned by management.

Required qualifications:

• Valid and clean driver's license with appropriate endorsements for box truck operation
• Proven experience driving box trucks and performing furniture delivery and setup
• Working knowledge of English and conversational proficiency
• Strong physical capability to lift and handle heavy furniture safely
• Solid understanding of DOT regulations and road safety protocols
• High attention to detail for furniture arrangement and installation
• Strong time management and communication skills
• Proficiency with DispatchTrack platform for route management
• Ability to use warehouse management systems and scanning devices
• Competency with tools such as drills, hammers, and levels
• Ability to take and submit photos documenting installations and damage
