Haus of Heidi is hiring a Staging + Operations Coordinator in Oceanside, CA. This part-time position combines creative staging work with warehouse and logistics responsibilities on a flexible schedule tied to home staging projects.
The role involves a mix of hands-on tasks that varies day to day. Responsibilities include:
- Help with designing and installing vacant home stagings
- Pull, prep and organize furniture, art and accessories before installations
- Assist with removing staged items and returning inventory to the warehouse
- Maintain organization and functionality of two Oceanside warehouse locations
- Coordinate staging logistics and plan upcoming projects
- Style rooms, shelves, beds and accessories
- Receive, assemble, tag and inventory new furniture and decor
- Identify inventory gaps and contribute to stage planning
- Work as part of the Haus of Heidi staging team under Heidi's direction
- Take on expanded project ownership as experience grows
Ideal candidates will have a strong eye for interiors combined with operational mindset and natural initiative. Key qualities include:
- Strong visual sense and interior design awareness
- Ability to notice details and spot organizational needs
- Comfort making decisions while learning the Haus of Heidi aesthetic
- Physical capacity to be on feet, climb stairs, work in warehouse settings and help move smaller furniture and decor
- Positive attitude and ability to stay calm during busy staging days
- Above all, dependability and reliability to show up for committed project days
Prior experience in home staging, interior design, visual merchandising, furniture and home goods, event installation, warehouse operations or real estate is valuable but not required. Strong work ethic, initiative and reliability matter more than a perfect resume.
Hours vary week to week based on project schedules, typically ranging from 15 to 35 hours per week. Full-time hours are not guaranteed at this time, making the position best suited for someone with schedule flexibility who is interested in growing with a small business. For the right candidate, there is potential for the role to expand in hours, responsibility and pay as Haus of Heidi expands.
Pay starts at $20 per hour during the training period, with increases possible based on performance and growing responsibility. The position offers a flexible schedule and is based in Oceanside with staging projects throughout San Diego County.
