About this role
Haus of Heidi, a boutique home staging and interior design company in Oceanside, is hiring a Home Staging Assistant. The position supports the company's staging installations, de-staging projects, warehouse operations, and inventory management across North County San Diego and surrounding areas.

Candidates should bring both interpersonal and practical skills to this role.

This position is part-time and project-based, averaging 10 to 20 hours per week depending on the staging calendar. Hours fluctuate according to when installations and de-staging work are scheduled, with primary focus on weekday availability. Growth in hours is possible as the company expands.
Compensation includes a two-week paid trial period at $20 per hour (consisting of 10 working days regardless of calendar weeks), then $22 per hour after successful completion of the trial. Additional increases in pay and responsibility are available as the role develops and the business grows.
Staging schedules are driven by Realtor timelines, seller needs, photographer requirements, and buyer activity, which means weekly availability can vary. Some weeks may have fewer hours while others may require expanded time commitment. Successful candidates are responsive to schedule changes and comfortable in a fluid environment.
Applicants should submit a brief personal statement, resume, any prior experience in staging, interior design, real estate, retail merchandising, event design, moving, or logistics, and general weekday availability. Direct applications to heidi@haus-of-heidi.com will receive first priority review.
