Home Staging Assistant

Lumina Staging & Design LLC is hiring a Home Staging Assistant in Hayward, CA. The company specializes in transforming residential spaces through thoughtful styling and design work aimed at attracting home buyers.

The position centers on hands-on staging work including decorative placement, bed assembly, and textile care. Day-to-day tasks involve positioning decor items like artwork, accessories, pillows, and tabletop arrangements throughout staged homes. The assistant will construct and present beds using layered bedding techniques, steam linens and light fabrics to achieve a polished appearance, and organize spaces to maximize visual appeal. The role includes following the lead stager's plans while on site, maintaining inventory of decor items, and ensuring staging materials stay clean and well-maintained.

Candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail and a natural sense of aesthetic composition. Prior experience in visual merchandising, interior styling, or comparable work is preferred. Practical skills required include comfort operating a steamer and handling various textiles. The ideal applicant is organized and reliable, takes direction well, maintains a professional and friendly approach with clients, and can spend extended periods on their feet while working at a steady pace.

The position offers part-time hours with flexible scheduling based on project demand.
