Stage to Amaze Inc. is hiring a Mover/Packer specializing in Home Staging in Brea, CA. This part-time position focuses on transporting, packing, and staging furniture and decor for residential presentations, working 20 to 25 hours per week on a day shift schedule.
The role involves several key responsibilities:
- Load, unload, and transport furniture, decor, and staging materials using box trucks and vans while following proper safety protocols
- Pack and unpack items with care, wrapping and unwrapping all furniture to protect materials during transit and installation or removal
- Retrieve furniture and staging inventory from retail stores and wholesalers
- Assemble furniture according to manufacturer instructions
- Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and assigned route schedules
- Support warehouse operations by organizing inventory, maintaining cleanliness, and preparing items for upcoming projects
- Update and maintain inventory system records
- Communicate professionally with clients throughout staging setup and item pickup
- Report loaded materials and any issues to appropriate staff or management
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety procedures and equipment guidelines
- Observe proper lifting techniques to avoid injury during manual handling
Applicants should meet these qualifications:
- Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience operating box trucks, vans, or similar delivery vehicles
- Demonstrated delivery driving background emphasizing traffic law compliance and safe practices
- Physical capability to lift 50 pounds regularly
- Strong organizational ability with efficiency in loading and unloading while maintaining safety
- Comfort navigating with mobile devices for route planning, communication, and task documentation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of warehouse or moving experience preferred
