Welcome Home Furniture Rental & Staging is hiring a Home Staging Professional in Concord, CA. This part-time role suits someone with experience in home staging, interior design, or visual merchandising who brings creativity, self-motivation, and strong problem-solving skills to each project.
The position involves preparing homes for sale by staging them to attract buyers and showcase their best features. Day-to-day work includes the following:
- Stage properties with coordinated décor and furnishings to create market-ready spaces
- Design staging plans customized to match each property's unique characteristics
- Arrange and select accessories and décor to optimize how rooms look and feel
- Coordinate with team members to finish projects on schedule
- Address challenges and make design decisions directly on-site
- Track and care for staging inventory and materials
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
- A strong eye for design with understanding of proportion, balance, and visual composition
- Previous experience in home staging, interior design, or visual merchandising
- Ability to solve problems quickly and adapt when unexpected obstacles arise
- Reliability and flexibility, including willingness to extend hours when projects demand it
- Physical capability to lift, carry, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Collaborative approach to working with others and contributing to a positive team dynamic
- Attention to detail and commitment to completing work to professional standards
