Home Staging Stylist

HolmeStage is hiring a Home Staging Stylist in Los Angeles, CA. The company stages homes preparing for market listing by furnishing and decorating properties with inventory from its own warehouse, aiming for beautiful photography and quick sales.

The stylist will be responsible for the following:

• Evaluate vacant and occupied homes to determine staging requirements
• Create comprehensive staging designs including layout, furniture selection, art placement, and accessory arrangements with cohesive color schemes
• Select and reserve inventory from the warehouse, then compile load lists for each installation
• Oversee the installation process on site, directing crew members and styling every room and finishing details
• Participate in de-staging and inventory pick-up, maintaining condition of all furnishings
• Coordinate with the team on scheduling, pricing quotes, and inventory management using the Odoo system (training provided)
• Monitor current Los Angeles market trends to keep the company's approach and aesthetic relevant

Requirements include the following:

• Demonstrated hands-on home staging experience (portfolio, photos, or previous work samples required; interior design experience alone does not qualify)
• Strong visual sense regarding proportion, scale, color theory, and ability to stage rooms for compelling photographs
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods on installation days and move and arrange furnishings and accessories
• Valid California driver's license, dependable vehicle, and active auto insurance
• Full-time availability Monday through Friday, with flexibility for installation scheduling
• Comfort using technology and CRM systems
• Professional demeanor with homeowners, real estate agents, and crew members

Preferred qualifications include high-volume vacant staging background, knowledge of the Los Angeles real estate market, and experience with styling or photography for listing images.

The position pays $23.08 per hour, approximately $4,000 monthly for 40 hours per week. HolmeStage reimburses mileage at $0.75 per mile. The role offers consistent full-time hours with a steady pipeline of homes rather than project-based work. The warehouse is currently located in Simi Valley with a planned move to Downtown Los Angeles within four to five months; applicants should be prepared for both commutes.
