Inventory Associate

Vesta Home is hiring an Inventory Associate in Hayward, CA. The Inventory Associate performs essential warehouse and inventory management tasks that keep operations running smoothly. Responsibilities include:

• Handle, protect, and maintain products according to company standards
• Load and unload trucks and containers carrying boxes and packages of products and supplies
• Perform basic cleaning and refurbishing of products to maintain quality
• Conduct quality control checks on products throughout the distribution process
• Execute daily warehouse cycle counts and manage warehouse bin accuracy levels
• Process incoming purchase orders, including barcode generation and project reservation assignment
• Enter and update data across all warehouse management system platforms, including Eames, CRM, Asset Manager, and internal systems
• Operate scanning functions and follow process workflows through the management application
• Use web-based WMS applications and data analysis tools to maintain accurate inventory records and track all inventory movement across Vesta Design Studio, Asset Manager, and Domo/Retool
• Troubleshoot barcodes and perform retagging as needed for reconciliation
• Execute product movements in the warehouse using both scanning and WMS systems
• Conduct in-home furniture inventory audits and verify data accuracy
• Generate warehouse reports and analyze discrepancies in inventory data
• Maintain awareness of product-specific parameters such as fabrics, materials, and finishes
• Recognize inventory SKU and serial number designations and follow established procedures
• Assist in training new team members
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization
• Operate material handling equipment including pallet jacks, dollies, four-wheelers, panel carts, and forklifts
• Report safety hazards to management and maintain a safe work environment
• Arrive to work on time and follow all company policies, standard operating procedures, and supervisor assignments

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and preferred minimum of two years of warehouse inventory management experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
