Junior Designer - Home Staging

Meridith Baer Home is hiring a Junior Designer for home staging work in South Gate, CA. This position focuses on selecting and placing company inventory in residential properties to help homeowners and real estate brokers present homes effectively to potential buyers.

Primary responsibilities include the following:

• Select and install the signature Meridith Baer aesthetic using warehouse inventory for projects budgeted at $10,000 or less
• Consult with homeowners, brokers, and internal sales associates to determine property needs and client preferences
• Choose furnishings that align with each property's budget constraints
• Complete Designer Debrief reports after each installation to document any inventory issues, installation challenges, or requirements for future move-outs
• Update and maintain the FileMaker inventory database to track stock levels and generate pricing for jobs
• Perform additional tasks as assigned

The ideal candidate possesses design knowledge and understands various design styles and spatial arrangement principles. Required qualifications are strong attention to detail, reliability in meeting project timelines, independent work capability, valid personal transportation, proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, and comfort working outdoors in variable weather. A degree in design or a related field is preferred but not required.
