Lead Stager/Designer

The Ruiz Group is hiring a Lead Stager/Designer in Monterey, CA. This contract role sits at the center of the company's real estate staging operations on the Monterey Peninsula and Bay Area, where the team stages roughly 70 properties annually. The position manages the complete lifecycle of staging projects, from initial client meetings through design work, furniture installation, and final removal once properties have sold.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Conducting client consultations and developing design concepts customized to each property
• Arranging furniture, artwork, and accessories to maximize visual appeal and marketability
• Overseeing installation work and managing timelines with movers and clients
• Managing the warehouse and tracking inventory in coordination with the moving team
• Researching current design trends and sourcing new pieces to keep inventory relevant, high-quality, and compatible with diverse home styles

Candidates should bring:

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in interior design, home staging, or a related discipline
• Strong knowledge of spatial layout, color application, and foundational design principles
• A solid grasp of furniture styles, art placement, and home accessories
• Excellent organizational abilities and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in project management (highly valued)
• A professional manner, superior communication skills both verbal and written, and a genuine commitment to client satisfaction
• Physical capability to lift at least 40 pounds regularly
• A reliable vehicle for job site travel
• Willingness to relocate to Monterey, CA before employment begins

The position pays $6,250 per month and requires on-site work in Monterey.
