Mover / Furniture Handler

Ardor House is a luxury home staging and interior design company in the Los Angeles and Orange County area. The company furnishes high-end properties to help them sell and is hiring movers on a project-by-project basis to handle furniture delivery, placement, and retrieval work.

This is a W2 part-time, on-call position with jobs scheduled throughout the week at advance notice. The role offers flexible hours and consistent repeat work for those not seeking a full-time 40-hour commitment.

Responsibilities include:

• Load and unload furniture, decor, and staging materials at the Cerritos warehouse and at client homes
• Move and place high-value furniture with care inside homes (this work requires careful handling and attention to detail)
• Wrap, pad, and protect pieces before transport
• Assist with staging setup and de-staging activities including breakdown and return of items to the warehouse
• Maintain the truck and warehouse organization

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

• Previous experience in moving, furniture delivery, or warehouse work preferred
• Ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds or more and work on feet throughout full shifts
• Careful and detail-oriented approach, as work involves expensive homes and furnishings
• Reliable and punctual with responsiveness to scheduling communications
• Comfort taking direction from the warehouse manager and lead stager
• Valid driver's license preferred; truck driving experience is a bonus
• Authorization to work in the United States

Pay ranges from $22 to $23 per hour with overtime as applicable. Applicants should send a brief summary of moving or furniture-handling background and general availability to apply.
