THE STAGING COMPANY is hiring a Home Stager in Training in Longwood, FL. This full-time position offers new team members the opportunity to learn professional staging through hands-on experience with the company's Home Story Method approach.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Assist the staging team during install projects, helping to convert empty rooms into appealing spaces
- Prioritize function and practicality in each space before adding decorative elements
- Maintain high safety standards for people and property, preventing damage throughout all work
- Execute work with clear purpose and attention to advancing the visual story of each home
- Organize and maintain operations by packing and unpacking vehicles, managing staging tools, and cleaning work stations
- Build strong communication skills through regular customer interaction
- Develop a portfolio documenting completed projects and professional growth
Day-to-day work involves completing an onboarding and training checklist, supporting staging installations on 50+ projects while leading approximately 25 stages with documented portfolio-quality results, and consistently delivering work that meets the company's standards for livability, function, and aesthetic appeal. The position requires taking initiative, solving problems independently, and communicating clearly with the team.
Ideal candidates bring creative thinking, a willingness to learn, and a hands-on approach to work. Prior experience in organized, detail-focused fields such as retail, events, moving, or hospitality is advantageous. Applicants should be comfortable learning Google Suite and Microsoft Office tools, communicate effectively, and manage tasks with attention to precision.
