Driver - Mover / Staging & Event Crew Member

Staging Design DC is hiring a Driver and Mover for staging and event crew work in Beltsville, MD. The position involves hands-on crew work supporting home stagings, destagings, furniture installations, and high-end events including weddings, corporate gatherings, galas, and private celebrations throughout the DMV area.

• Load, transport, unload, and position furniture, décor, rugs, artwork, and staging materials
• Assist with home stagings and destagings following layout plans and designer guidance
• Set up and break down events at residential, venue, and commercial locations
• Handle all items with care in luxury homes and high-end venues
• Protect furniture and materials using moving blankets, plastic wrap, straps, and company procedures
• Adhere to company standards for packing, loading, transportation, and quality assurance
• Collaborate with designers, event coordinators, managers, and crew members
• Keep projects on schedule while maintaining professionalism
• Support warehouse operations including cleaning, organizing, restocking, minor repairs, and inventory management
• Operate 16 ft to 26 ft box trucks when qualified
• Use smartphone applications for scheduling, navigation, communication, and job tracking

Required qualifications include reliability and punctuality, ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs, comfort with physical labor, strong teamwork and communication skills, attention to detail when following instructions, professionalism around clients and venues, basic smartphone competency, U.S. work authorization, commuting ability to the Beltsville warehouse, and fluent English. Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred. A valid driver's license with clean driving record is strongly preferred. Prior experience with moving, furniture delivery, event setup, warehouse operations, logistics, furniture installation, home staging, or box truck driving is beneficial. DOT certification is preferred; the company may assist qualified candidates in obtaining it.

Position is part-time with evening and night shifts. Work includes Monday through Friday availability, every weekend, and weekends as needed. Pay ranges from $22.00 to $25.00 per hour.
