About this role
Realestaged is hiring a Home Staging Stylist in Glen Burnie, MD. This lead stylist position involves guiding junior designers through home staging projects, meeting with clients to make staging recommendations, leading staging initiatives, curating inventory selections, and overseeing quality control across all completed work.
As a staging curator, the Home Staging Stylist will select furniture for staging jobs based on photos and videos before visiting properties. This role creates vision boards and design plans for customers, coordinates with other stylists to align on client expectations, and plans complex stagings including partial stagings that mix customer furnishings with Realestaged inventory, model homes, short-term rentals, and luxury multi-million-dollar properties. The stylist will develop furniture transfer plans to move inventory between locations and drive to properties in company vehicles to document job sites with photos for upcoming projects.
Responsibilities also include furniture moving and installation work. The stylist will carry furniture up to 50 pounds into homes and arrange pieces for staging, print and frame artwork, perform minor repairs and painting on furniture, and shop for new inventory items.
Design quality control falls under this position's scope. The stylist reviews before-and-after photos and videos of all jobs to ensure they meet Realestaged standards, addresses customer escalations regarding staging satisfaction, makes outgoing calls to new clients to explain the Realestaged experience, and corrects issues on staging projects both on-site and in the warehouse. This includes addressing furniture tags, damage, and inventory selection problems. The stylist will also load fragile ornaments into boxes for safe transport, hang pictures and mirrors, and train team members on proper techniques for hanging artwork, placing furniture and accessories, and executing Realestaged's staging methodology.
Administrative design work includes reviewing photos and videos of future stagings before and after completion, making outgoing calls to clients to confirm which rooms should be staged, and working within the company's CRM system to assist admin teams with design quoting.
