REALESTAGED LLC is hiring a Home Staging Stylist in Glen Burnie, MD. This is a lead position where the stylist supervises junior designers through home staging projects while managing client meetings, design recommendations, inventory curation, and quality control across all staging jobs. The role blends creative direction with hands-on execution and administrative oversight.
- Guide teams of junior designers on staging projects
- Meet with clients, provide staging recommendations, and lead staging initiatives from start to finish
- Select furniture for staging jobs, often using photos and videos before visiting properties
- Evaluate completed stagings and instruct team members on correcting mistakes via photos and video as final quality control
- Create vision boards and design plans tailored to customer needs
- Coordinate with other stylists to align on expectations and maintain detailed notes in the company CRM
- Plan complex stagings including partial stagings that mix customer and company furniture, model homes, short-term rentals, and luxury multi-million dollar properties
- Develop Home Staging Transfer plans to move furniture between locations
- Drive to properties in company vehicles to document upcoming staging jobs with photographs
- Carry and arrange furniture during staging assignments
- Print and frame artwork for staging jobs
- Repair furniture through painting or minor maintenance as needed
- Shop for new furniture to maintain standard inventory
- Review before and after photos and videos to ensure all work meets company standards
- Address customer escalations regarding staging dissatisfaction
- Contact new clients to explain the REALESTAGED experience
- Correct staging issues at job sites or in the warehouse, including furniture tagging, damage, and selection problems
- Pack fragile décor items carefully for transport
- Hang pictures, mirrors, and accessories
- Train team members on proper hanging, furniture placement, and staging techniques
- Review upcoming staging photos and videos for quality approval
- Contact clients to confirm room staging scope
- Assist admin teams with design quoting in the CRM system
The position offers an immediate start date with 8-hour shifts beginning between 7am and 9am. Hours are seasonal and may decrease in November, December, and January. Flexible work-from-home options are available, though in-person site visits to correct mistakes are required. Compensation is $60,000 to $70,000 annually depending on experience with design, home staging, real estate sales, and email/customer service skills.
