After arriving at staging locations up to 50 miles away, the installer arranges furniture according to design photos, hangs artwork, and makes minor repairs as needed under stylist direction. The role requires coordination with team members to complete each house efficiently and reporting any inventory damage or property issues to leadership.
The installer's responsibilities include:
- Packing fragile decorative items and furniture for safe transport
- Loading furniture into cargo vans and box trucks using appropriate methods
- Operating vehicles to reach job sites within a 50-mile radius
- Navigating city environments, parking in tight spaces, and driving safely in traffic
- Arranging furniture inside homes to match provided design photos and company standards
- Installing pictures and mirrors
- Performing minor furniture repairs as directed
- Lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds through homes and up staircases
- Communicating with team members to streamline the installation process
The successful candidate will have:
- Current ability to drive cargo vans and box trucks
- Capacity to lift 50 pounds and move lightweight furniture up stairs
- Skill in coordinating with a partner to position furniture according to specifications
