All Purpose Warehouse Associate

Custom Home Furniture is seeking an adaptable and committed All Purpose Associate to be part of their Distribution Center team at Leland Industrial Park. The role is crucial for warehouse and delivery operations, requiring the individual to ensure furniture is diligently received, sorted, prepared, and dispatched adhering to service standards.

The tasks of an All Purpose Associate include receiving, unloading, and safe storing of incoming freight. The role entails inspecting merchandise and getting items delivery-ready. Obligations further extend to loading trucks for daily delivery routes, and supporting 'white-glove' delivery teams with furniture transportation into customers’ homes. The associate will assist with setting up and assembling items in designated spaces, conducting client walk-throughs and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role also includes liaising with the customer service team regarding delivery progress or issues, maintaining a safe and clean warehouse environment, and supporting inventory control and operational needs as assigned.

Qualifications for the role include an ability to lift 150+ lbs., comfort with extended physical activity including standing, crouching, and kneeling. The applicant should hold a valid driver’s license with a clean record and have reliable transportation for dependable attendance. Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills are required. Previous warehouse, logistics, or delivery experience would be advantageous. All applicants must be open to undergoing a background check.

Remuneration ranges from $13.00 – $25.00 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications. The role is full-time, from Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional weekend requirements.
