Driver, mover, packer

The team is seeking a committed and reliable mover and driver. The person in this position has a crucial responsibility for the secure and effective transportation of furniture for staging projects. It's a physically intensive role calling for strong teamwork abilities, superb customer service skills, and capacity for heavy lifting.

As part of their duties, the person will be expected to load and unload items from vehicles, always with great care. They will need to safely operate various kinds of vehicles, including box trucks and vans, observing all traffic laws and security regulations. They will be obligated to provide outstanding customer service and communicate well with the team throughout the moving operation.

Additionally, the transporter will be asked to lend a hand in packing and unpacking items as needed, while making sure all items are organized and protected. There will be heavy lifting involved, including relocating furniture and boxes. The role also entails daily vehicle inspections for safety and functionality before commencing routes, and working closely with other team members to ensure moves are completed on time and at a high standard of quality.

The requirements for this role include a valid driver's license with commercial vehicle driving experience. Previous experience in a delivery driver or similar role is preferred. The ability to consistently lift heavy items up to 50 pounds throughout the day is a necessity. Candidates should possess strong customer service skills, be able to positively interact with clients, and maintain a positive attitude with a strong work ethic. A mindset for effective team work is crucial for success in this role.

This part-time role pays $20.00 per hour with expected work hours being 15 - 20 per week. Generally, work will be during the day shift, from Monday to Friday without weekends. The job location is in person. This team values hard work, dedication, and superior service.
