Home Staging Assistant

They are searching for a meticulous and dependable Staging Assistant to aid their professional home staging team. The chosen candidate would operate from their warehouse in Huntington Beach and frequently travel to various staging locations in Orange County. This position is part-time and offers a flexible schedule. The Staging Assistant would help in initiating and dismantling home staging projects.

The responsibilities of the role include reporting to their Huntington Beach warehouse to load or unload staging pieces. The chosen candidate would travel across Orange County in their personal vehicle to reach job sites. The assistant would help the designer in positioning and arranging furniture and decor as per the plan. Key tasks involve coordinating with movers and truck drivers to ensure a smooth pickup and delivery process.

Additionally, they would unload, unveil, and manage staging objects during the setup stage. They would also pack up items in sold homes with careful handling of furniture and decor. The Staging Assistant would also aid in tearing down staged properties and getting the items ready for warehouse return. The chosen individual would also need to maintain professionalism while working in client's homes and handling inventory. They need to work swiftly and neatly as timing is often crucial in setups and breakdowns. Good communication with the lead designer is also required.

As per the requirements of the role, the candidate should possess a reliable vehicle along with a valid driver's license. They should be capable of lifting a minimum of 40 lbs, and have the ability to work swiftly and efficiently in a fast-paced atmosphere. They should be detail-oriented with an eye for design and spatial planning. Professionalism, punctuality, and collaboration are key. The assistant should be available on weekdays and/or weekends, sometimes with short notice. Prior experience in home staging, design, or moving is desirable but not imperative.

This role is part-time where the pay would range between $23.00 - $25.00 per hour. The job offers a flexible schedule with work days from Monday to Friday. Weekend work is needed as and when.

If the candidate is conveniently located in Huntington Beach, CA 92647, it would be advantageous. If required, they may have to relocate before starting work to Huntington Beach, CA 92647. The work will be conducted in person.
