Driver/Mover/Warehouse and Staging Assistant

This established Home Staging Company is based in Pinellas County, Florida. They service homes all throughout the Tampa Bay area. They are proud and passionate about their work, always aiming for the highest level of customer service.

They are currently trying to recruit an individual who fits the role of a Driver/Mover/Warehouse worker/Warehouse and Staging Assistant. This team member will be responsible for travelling to different locations in the service area. Their tasks include, but are not limited to, wrapping and loading items such as art pieces and furniture into a vehicle.

Another major responsibility of this job position includes delivering items to the assigned destination safely and securely. They are expected to make sure that none of the items are damaged during the transit. They should be capable of working in variable weather conditions and lifting heavy objects.

They will also be in charge of maintaining the company's warehouses and storage units by organizing furniture and keeping the areas clean. As part of their duty, they will assist the staging team with preparations and clean up, as well as learning the company's staging techniques. The company is strictly smoke, vape, and drug-free in all its working areas and trucks.

The job schedule is typically Monday through Friday, with occasional work on Saturdays. The position is initially part-time with potential for full-time work. The pay offered ranges from $18 to $25 per hour.

The ideal candidate should be experienced in driving moving trucks, specifically 17ft to 24ft box trucks. They should be willing to travel to and from service areas including local and outlying areas like Lakeland, NorthPort and Ocala. They should be capable of taking instructions with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. They must have a flexible, can-do attitude, the ability to multitask, and physical fitness strong enough to lift heavy loads.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, as well as a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. The candidate must respect the company’s substance-free policies. Job Type: Part-time with potential for full-time, Monday to Friday availability and occasional Saturday work. Relevant experience is preferred. The work location is the company's warehouse in St. Petersburg.
