Linden Creek Home Staging is hiring a Home Staging & Interior Design Intern / Social Media Assistant in Wilmington, NC 28401. This paid, part-time internship suits college students or individuals pursuing careers in interior design, home staging, visual merchandising or related creative fields seeking hands-on experience.
Interns in this role will take on a range of responsibilities spanning staging, design support and content creation.
- Assist with home staging installations and de-stages, including pulling, loading and organizing inventory
- Style furniture, artwork, accessories and décor in clients' homes
- Support interior design projects through sourcing, sample gathering, procurement and project coordination
- Photograph and film project transformations and behind-the-scenes activities
- Produce Instagram Reels, Stories and posts that engage followers
- Generate original social media content concepts and monitor current trends in design and social platforms
Candidates should have the following skills and qualities:
- Strong interest in interior design, home staging and styling
- Experience with Canva, CapCut and Instagram
- Ability to develop social media content ideas independently and with creativity
- Solid communication skills, organizational ability and attention to detail
- Reliability and willingness to take initiative across various tasks
- Comfort working in a warehouse setting and capacity to lift up to 50 pounds
- Reliable transportation
The position offers flexible, part-time hours with variable scheduling based on project needs. Primary availability is Tuesday through Thursday, approximately 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM, with mornings required. Expected hours range from 10 to 20 per week, though weekly totals will vary with the staging calendar. A minimum one-year commitment is preferred.
