The Staging Company is seeking a high-potential Stager in Training for their San Antonio/Austin location.

This is a dynamic role that provides a journey into professional staging and design leadership for those with a keen eye for design and refined critical thinking skills.

They have a two-year career trajectory for team members that transitions them from entry-level staging to roles such as Design Coordinator or Independent Designer, all of which offer substantial income prospects.

In the Stager in Training role, you’ll assist with daily staging operations, become versed in the Home Story MethodTM, and comprehend project flow. You will prepare and transport furniture and décor according to the design plan and profile of each home’s prospective buyer.

The job involves travelling with the team to install one to three stages per day while making on-the-spot decisions to deal with layout, inventory, and timeline issues at the site. You’ll also be responsible for capturing high-quality before/after photos that support both your portfolio and the company’s marketing endeavors.

To advance through the pipeline, autonomy, quality, initiative, and leadership must be demonstrated.

Ideal candidates for this role must show strong design instincts through qualifications such as degrees and coursework and have a portfolio demonstrating space planning, style, and cohesive design.

Critical thinking and problem-solving aptitude must be proven in previous work or projects, and a team-oriented and reliable disposition is crucial. Candidates should be capable of lifting and moving furniture and décor safely and also possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the warehouse.

Those with experience in home staging, interior decorating, or real estate, familiarity with design tools, or portfolio documentation have an advantage. This role is also suited to those who thrive in fast-paced, changing environments with daily variety.

The role is a full-time position with a Monday to Friday work schedule that typically starts around 8:00 am until the day’s tasks are completed, with no weekend work.

Initial remuneration is based on an hourly rate, with structured increases as the individual advances through Stager Levels 1 and 2 based on their mastery and autonomy’s evidence.

Compensation ranges from $15.00 – $22.50 per hour with benefits that include 401(k) matching, an employee discount, flexible scheduling, paid time off, and a referral program. This position is on-site.
