Staging Consultant

The EmpowerHome Team is on a search for a highly/exceptionally skilled Staging Consultant. Their primary function will be conducting Walk & Talk Consultations. This part-time, project-based role is perfect for a staging expert who is particularly good at communicating with clients, offering clear guidance to sellers and can well handle project-based work.

The key aspect of this role will be to assist homeowners in getting their properties ready for sales by underlining the main features, enhancing flow and boosting buyer appeal, all in line with the high-quality standards of the EmpowerHome brand. This role is vital as staged homes are known to sell 50% faster and for up to 20% more than homes not staged.

To succeed in this role, the consultant must conduct Walk & Talk Consultations with sellers in their homes. Their deliverables will be to offer clear and assured guidance on de-personalizing, decluttering, making layout adjustments and getting ready for the market. They have to recommend strategic updates to enhance spatial flow and buyer appeal.

After each consultation, they will need to provide the homeowners with a comprehensible step-by-step report or checklist. Professional and clear communication with the real estate agent and seller is crucial. They should be able to manage several projects with efficiency, ensuring attention to keeping deadlines and detail.

In addition, the consultant will also be responsible for providing staging and project support. Collaborating with real estate agents and homeowners to stage homes for sale is crucial. They will have to undertake full or partial staging projects, keeping in line with EmpowerHome standards.

They should have the required experience in home staging, interior designing or real estate. Holding or pursuing a degree in Home Staging, Interior Design or a similar field would be beneficial. They need to be tech-savvy and comfortable using staging/design software or apps, strong verbal and written communication skills, highly organized, dependable and detail-oriented. They should also be able to lift and move décor/furniture and should be open to local travel with a flexible schedule.
