Home Staging Assistant

Refined Design Staging is hiring a Home Staging Assistant in Springfield, VA. The company stages properties throughout the DMV region with emphasis on Northern Virginia. This part-time position offers 20-30 hours per week with a flexible schedule Monday through Friday, though hours vary seasonally.

Day-to-day responsibilities include the following:

• Clean surfaces at the warehouse and at staged properties
• Steam bedding and linens
• Hang artwork using nails
• Pack inventory into bins safely and securely
• Load and unload accessories and artwork
• Organize and store inventory at the warehouse
• Follow established company systems and procedures
• Run errands and handle lunch runs as needed
• Preview upcoming staging properties when required
• Transport small decorative items and bins using a personal vehicle when necessary

Candidates must meet these requirements:

• Ability to lift at least 30 pounds regularly
• Capability to remain on feet throughout the workday
• Own vehicle for transportation between warehouse and staging locations (the company covers mileage between work sites)
• Valid driver's license
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Dependability and punctuality
• Attention to detail and ability to follow detailed directions
• Adaptability and organized approach to work

The position starts at $16 per hour. Refined Design Staging offers a flexible schedule, on-the-job training, paid trial days during the hiring process (which typically lasts one to two weeks), opportunities for advancement, and a referral program. This is an in-person role requiring regular travel between locations.
