Part-Time Home Staging Assistant

ML Real Estate Group is hiring a Part-Time Home Staging Assistant in Reston, VA. The company is a growing home staging operation connected to a leading Northern Virginia real estate team, with plans to stage approximately 120 homes annually at a 75% staging rate.

The assistant will handle multiple aspects of staging preparation and execution:

• Assist with staging and destaging homes that are occupied and vacant
• Load, unload, and transport décor, artwork, and accessories to job sites (professional movers handle furniture)
• Arrange décor and furnishings according to staging design guidelines
• Maintain organization in the staging warehouse
• Prepare inventory and materials for upcoming staging appointments
• Collaborate with the lead stager on projects, progressing toward independent work as experience builds

Candidates should have the following qualities and experience:

• Dependable and punctual attendance
• Positive attitude with a collaborative approach to teamwork
• Physical capability to lift and move items up to around 50 lbs.
• An eye for design and detail (preferred but not required)
• Ability to follow instructions while also showing initiative
• Reliable personal transportation
• Background in staging, interior design, moving, retail merchandising, or decorating is valued; training is available for the right candidate

The position runs Monday through Friday, typically 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with hours varying weekly based on staging volume. This flexible schedule suits someone seeking supplemental income. Pay ranges from $25 to $35 per hour, based on experience, reliability, and capacity to work independently.
