Mover/Packer/Driver

Phoenix Staging + Design is hiring a Mover/Packer/Driver in Woodbridge, VA. This part-time position offers 4-hour or 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday, with no weekend work required. The role pays $18 to $23 per hour.

The position involves leading staging operations and managing the physical execution of home staging projects. Responsibilities include the following:

• Lead and work alongside field team members during furniture installations and removals while maintaining a positive work environment
• Carefully load, unload, assemble, and position furniture, artwork, and decorative items in residential properties according to design specifications
• Wrap, pack, load, and secure delicate items to prevent damage during transport
• Understand daily logistics schedules, prioritize on-site tasks, adapt to changing timelines, and attend weekly operations meetings
• Safely operate company box trucks and vans to and from job sites, keeping vehicles and warehouse facilities clean and organized
• Communicate clearly with project managers, logistics coordinators, and clients throughout project execution

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Active DOT certification or willingness to obtain it after hire
• Previous experience driving box trucks or cargo vans strongly preferred
• Ability to lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day
• Comfort working on feet in varying weather conditions
• Proficiency with digital systems, scheduling applications, and mobile workflows
• Flexibility to accommodate varying work hours based on project schedules and client needs
• Strong interpersonal skills, close attention to detail, reliable attendance, and solid work ethic
• Adaptable mindset with a positive, can-do attitude
