The primary focus of this role is to act as the first point of contact for clients regarding all staging installations. The recruit will need to work closely with the sales team and the VP of the market to ensure every project is successful.

The recruit should be able to properly outline the design project. They are expected to arrange a design handoff meeting in partnership with the sales representative and the client for the purpose of aligning the project scope. An additional meeting with the client should be arranged to present initial ideas, discuss potential specifics about the design or installation.

A significant responsibility is to manage the project’s budget especially for custom furniture and accessory purchases. The recruit is responsible for creating an installation road map. In addition, they should inform the scheduler of their needs well within their practical deadline which is a negotiation between the sales team, the scheduling department and the client.

Execution of design projects successfully is a must. This entails managing the installation team while traveling to the project location and on-site. The completion of the installation must fall within the designated time frame, usually within one to three days. The recruit should continuously communicate their feedback and installation needs to sales and the scheduling department for every day before the install or changes.

Creating a project inventory through recording and photographing is significant for this role. This includes taking pictures of the work itself including all rooms and products used. They will need to create a detailed and organized inventory list using the provided template and make sure all installed items are accounted for. They should also create an invoice for the project that includes hours spent on the project and images of the receipts regarding each expenditure related to the specific project.

The key responsibilities for this role include personally overseeing and executing the design project to the best of their skills. It’s important to represent their organization to the client with positive energy and integrity. The recruit should work as per the directives provided by the Operations Team. They should also support the sale of Vesta Inventory from homes that have been staged.

Skills and experience required to fulfill these functions include a full understanding of Vesta’s online reservation system. A minimum of three year’s experience in the interior design field is essential. Experience of managing a home installation or construction crew is an advantage. Experience staging luxury homes (5MM +) is preferred but not essential.

Personal attributes required include integrity, trust, and commitment. Excellent written and spoken communication abilities are important. They should be adept at working in collaborative settings. Being organized and deadline-driven they should prioritize as necessary to complete the tasks. This role requires strong time management and problem-solving abilities and the capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of Google Suite is beneficial but not required.
