The position on offer is “Staging & Design Mover/ Installer”. The individual who takes on this role will be responsible for the movement, loading, unloading and set-up of furniture during client deliveries and pickups. They are required to pack and unpack items efficiently and systematically ahead of staging. They need to adhere to inventory protocol and utilize tracking systems.
The duties included in the role consist of furniture and decor transportation, loading and unloading items, setting up furniture and decor and organizing the warehouse. The role may also include hanging up artwork, light cleaning and touch-ups of furniture and decor, and potentially driving Renew vehicles.
Candidates considered for the role need to have excellent communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to self-motivate. Being resourceful and capable of working well with others is also necessary. As the job requires physical work, an ability to lift 50 lbs is required. A knowledge of pulling a trailer is beneficial and preferred. Reliable transportation to work is a must.
In terms of hours, the role offers flexibility but generally, workdays start around 8:00 am and finish around 5:30-6:00 pm. Full-time positions (over 32 hours a week) and part-time positions (over 20 hours a week) are available.
Pay is dependent on the experience and capabilities of the individual. The starting pay ranges from $16 to $19 an hour.
